Features & Information

Emissions and Engine Technology. The Cat C9.3B Engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage V/Korea Tier 4 Final emission standards with an aftertreatment system that is designed to be transparent to the operator. The engine has a redesigned fuel system that provides greater durability and more accurate fuel delivery. The new D6 is outmatched with a design that specifically reduces service and maintenance costs by up to 12%, with updated components, longer service intervals and fewer scheduled maintenance tasks.

More Efficient. The D6 is powered by a 4-speed fully automatic transmission that provided increased productivity and up to 20% better fuel efficiency versus it's 3-speed predecessor. The fully automatic D6 continuously adjusts for maximum efficiency and power to the ground without added operator input. Full auto shift up and down entire working range maximizes fuel efficiency.

Greater Productivity. Available in a variety of blade types, track shoe widths and rear attachments, the new D6 is optimized for primary types of work to be done. A VPAT or push arm configuration is also available with standard or Low Ground Pressure (LGP) undercarriage. These features of the D6 give you greater productivity, meaning you move 5% more material per hour.
