PipeLine Machinery International (PLM) introduces a custom equipment solution for the pipeline industry - the Cat^®D8T LGP dozer with a custom-built angle blade and winch attachment. The D8T LGP is revolutionary because it is purpose-built to move heavy loads in the soft soil conditions so often associated with pipeline construction. With a ground pressure of 8.4 psi, the D8T LGP moves substantially more material than smaller machines in a LGP configuration with a much lighter footprint. Because it excels across a wide range of dozing tasks, customers choose the D8T LGP dozer for everything from dozing, ripping, scraper work and land clearing to rough finish grading.

Features & Information

Engine & Emissions Technology. A Cat C15 ACERT engine, integrated power train and responsive hydraulics work together to put more power to the ground, where you need it to get the job done. This engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV/Japan 2014 (Tier 4 Final)/Korea Tier 4 Final emission standards.

Quality & Reliability. The Cat D8T LGP dozer with angle blade attachment has the features and quality you can rely on as demonstrated in the standard D8T track-type tractor. This model is as a result of listening to the voice of the customer and discovering a need to move large amounts of dirt off to the side of the right-of-way and would work well in the soft, and sometimes wet, terrain native to a variety of pipeline project environments.

Low Ground Pressure. A ground pressure of 8.4 psi moves substantially more material than smaller machines in a LGP configuration - with a much lighter footprint than the standard design.

LGP A Blade. The purpose-built LGP angle blade allows you to move large amounts of materials in the direction you want it to go without the heavy weight of a large machine and has a capacity of 7.6 yd ³

Winch Configuration. The D8T LGP with angle blade is outfitted with a winch configuration appropriate for this model machine.
