The PANTHER T8 is the most versatile rubber tracked crawler carrier that fits just about any implement to its 860 mm (34 in.) truck-inspired chassis with little to no modification. PLM makes the PANTHER T8 available in four configurations: flat bed with crane, a tilting flat bed, a dump box, and the WELD DECK with slewing canopy. The PANTHER T8 effortlessly carries up to 16,000 lb. (7 257 kg) worth of heavy equipment, materials and supplies to any worksite while exerting very low ground pressure.

Features & Information

Emissions Technology. The Cat C7.1 ACERT engine meets EPA Tier 4 Final/ EU Stage IV emission standards.

Performance. The PANTHER T8 features an uphill & downhill gradeability of 60% (31º), sidehill gradeability of 40% (21.8º), and a maximum speed of 7.15 mph (11.5 km/h). Pavement-friendly rubber tracks and remarkable speed make the PANTHER highly mobile. Numerous blocks provide bite into the ground while angular cuts and “zig-zag” tread provide side-hill grip. Dynamic track tension gives you proper tension while working. Large wheels give more contact with the ground and more stability.

Versatility and more. PLM makes the PANTHER T8 available in four configurations: flat bed with crane, a tilting flat bed, a dump box, and the WELD DECK with slewing canopy. Together with a ground pressure of 4.70 psi and a strong pull ratio, these features allow this carrier crawler to access your pipeline construction site, even if the terrain is difficult, without damage to the environment.

PANTHER T8 Configurations

Crane model: Atlas 42.3 with remote control and battery charger.
Knuckle boom, telescopic reach with a radius of 370 degrees.
Capacity: 2,190 lb. @ 11.5 ft. (995 kg @ 3.5 m)
900 lb. @ 25 ft. (408 kg @ 7.3 m)
Optional removable aluminum sides on the flat bed.

Weld Deck: Vanguard CPW 125-4 Series 2 gives you continuous powered welding.
Can be configured for either full automatic or manual stick welding.
Power generation is independent of the carrier allowing the unit to be moved without shutting down power resulting in a faster cycle time.
Standard with 50/60 dual frequency operation for easy conversion between 50 and 60 cycle applications.
Engineered fully hydraulic and self-locking slewing canopy.

Dump bed capacity: 5.75 cubic yards (4.4 cubic meters) and 13,000 lb. (5,896 kg)
Application: Move earth gravel, rocks and mats.

Same technology as the dump box configuration.
Application: sand blasting, rigs, handling mats, skids, generators, pumps, fuel tanks and job supplies.
